Why a course for moms?

With so much pressure on women to bounce back after baby and feed their kids perfectly, I wanted to focus on giving moms the tools they need to be their authentic selves so they could model that for their children. I made this course to cover everything you need to know in order to revamp your health and wellness with balance and intuition. As mamas, we’re busy and inundated with information already, so reading a huge stack of books isn’t in the cards. I pulled from hundreds of resources that I commonly recommend to my clients to so that everything would be in one place in a simple, straight-to-the-point format. The course is self-paced so that you can absorb the information when it makes sense for you. It also comes along with journaling prompts and activities at the end of each module to help the lessons stick in a way that is meaningful and sustainable to you.

  • sit in the suck, step away from the scale, stop comparing, find gratitude, and find comfort for your body as it is today - learn how negative body image started systemically and what to do to make it right so that you can do the things that bring you joy instead of letting your body hold you back

  • learn scripts, the dos and donts of feeding your kids so they can trust their bodies and obtain body autonomy, and teach them how to build resilience towards diet culture and societal body issues - don’t let your body stuff become their body stuff

Meet Anti-Diet Mama

Sammie Gollup is a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition with over ten years of experience in individual counseling, public health, group coaching, and program development. She is also a mom to two toddlers, so she knows how tricky feeding littles can be. Starting off her career in weight management led Sammie to develop a passion for helping others to take care of themselves in a holistic way and reinforced that wellness has nothing to do with what the scale says. It is her mission to help mamas break free from the societal pressures of dieting and shrinking their bodies so that they can become their authentic selves and raise a generation that is resilient to diet culture. In the last few years, Sammie has dedicated much of her time to becoming an intuitive eating and body image coach and treating eating disorders.
